NAAC Accreditation

The most spectacular achievement has been the accreditation of the college by the NAAC (National Assessment &Accreditation Council) on 5^th May 2004.The College has been entitled to B Level

(Grade) with 72.5% marks.

Despite infrastructural inadequacy and lack of Degree science stream, this gradation is a recognition of the

Sincere efforts of teachers, staff & students and hence it has been a milestone for the history of the College.

IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell) has been formed to internalise quality as a continuous process and send report (AQAR) to NAAC annually.

·        W.B. Youth parliament competition Rank I- 2004.

·        W.B. State Athletics (Non -Govt. Colleges) 2005,Girls athletic –Discuss rank III, 2006, Girls athletics Discuss 2^nd,Javellin 3^rd.

·        South Kol Dt. (Non-Govt. College sports under the DPI) Tournament – 2006, Championship along with Boys individual and Girls individual championship.

·        Rabindra Nath’s Birth Anniversary Celebration is conducted in the most befitting and unique manner.

·        In the Hindi Mela the students have been winners in Cultural performance.

·        Students’ Academic Tours organized by different departments include Asiatic Society, W.B. Legislative Assembly, National Library, National Museum, Victoria Memorial and the like.
