Admission

C.U rules for admission in all Hons subjects except English(Hons)

i) 45% in the subject in HS Examination (WB)& ISC and 50% marks in the aggregate (best of four, excluding ENVS) OR

ii) 55% marks in the subject OR

iii) 50% in the aggregate when the candidate has not studied the subject in the last examination, provided all other C.U. norms are fulfilled .

For English Hons 50% in aggregate and 55% in subject or 55% in aggregate and 50% in subject is required for direct admission. Students with lower marks will seat for selection test. For General course pass in HS(WB) or ISC is required.
For Economics(hons) Maths and Bussiness Maths is compulsory
For students coming from SC/ST, provision for relaxation in marks as per C U rules—40% in the subject for Honours and/or 40% in the aggregate.

22% seats for SC, 6% seats for ST, and 3% seats for persons with disability are kept reserved. Students having sports championship may be given special facility.

• Two sets of attested marksheets and Admit Cards of Secondary and Higher Secondary Examinations;
• One original school leaving certificate;
• Two passport size photographs of the candidate;
• One passport size photograph of the parent/guardian;
• One migration certificate (original) from other Boards.

Fees to be collected at the time of admission are :-
• B.A. Honours: Rs. 1425
• B.A. General : Rs 1400
• B. Com. Honours: Rs. 1435
• B. Com. General : Rs. 1410
• B. Sc Economics Honours: Rs 1460
• B.Sc. General (Eco & Maths.) : Rs. 1435

Fees for Self Financing Subjects Geography: Rs 2100 including Study Tour at a time;
Journalism & Mass Communication : Rs. 1600 at a time.
Physical Education: Rs. 1600 at a time.
Persian: Rs 80 per month/Rs 960 at a time.
For B.Com. IT (syllabus), compulsory computer fee of Rs 25 per month to be given by B.Com. I & II Year students.
Compulsory Computer Application course fee of Rs 25 per month to be given by B. Com. III year & B.A./B.Sc. I,II,III students. This course is offered to students for skill development through IT professional.
Optional fees
A student who will join NCC unit, has to pay Rs. 25 For Multi-gym, fee of Rs. 25 is charged per student in a year. Communicative English Course fee of Rs. 25 per month (Subject to certain Cond).
